STU – SRAM Technical University 2015

We believe that to be the best we need to invest in our staff. Recently we were able to send Jimmy Pollard, Torpedo7 athlete and workshop extraordinaire from Queenstown to Melbourne to attend the SRAM Technical University and up-skill himself on the latest developments in bike technology. Jimmy can now be our point of call for workshop staff needing anything SRAM related as well as offering next level service from one of our busiest bike workshops in the country. Stop by and say hi next time you’re passing through Torpedo7 Queenstown!

This June I was really happy to be sent to STU (Sram Technical University) in Melbourne by Torpedo7 Queenstown. At the course we cover a range of super helpful processes in and around sram products. I specifically enjoyed the section on suspension servicing including the charger damper and the new RockShox RS-1. it was both professionally tutored and explained so it was easily taken on board. Also having the USB provided after the course with all of the relevant information was a gold mine. I loved STU as it was a well laid out simple workspace with enough time in and around the course to chat about certain issues other members had found with certain things. James at SRAM was a real personality and a wealth of knowledge and certainly put a few of these issues to rest.

Thanks To Torpedo 7 for sending me on this excellent course. Looking forward to the coming summer season in Queenstown! =)
