"Carrera Veleno" a bike created in the company labs in CALCINATO (Brescia) by a team of R & D specialists who invest their working hours in the future of cycling to obtain breakthrough technical performances.
The Veleno is produced by exotic materials derived from the aero-space industry. The front monocoque triangle is created directly in a press using 65% highly-resistant T700sc carbon fibre, 25% “High Modulus” M30J 3K carbon weave and 10% “High Strength” 60T carbon fibre. The frame build is completed with a bonded and laminated “Laminated Carbon” rear triangle.
Carrera calls the Veleno ’’The next generation of Carbon technology", resulting in a frameset that delivers a dream ride and is still aimed at a competitive price point. Its distinctive with its integrated seatpost, and gives the frame definite structural ridgidity, and "ride quality" with none of the problems of slipping seatposts, oversquashed seatpost collars and over torqued seatpost bolts. "Measure twice, cut once" is a great tip as said by professonal bike fitters, The Carrera 1-Bolt Seat Mast Topper, a patented one-bolt clamp system makes seat installation and adjustment extremely simple with 10mm of spacers included of up and down freedom.
