928 Carbon Mono-Q - It’s fair to say rigidity is it’s strong point, and it’s all thanks to the new monocoque 12k Carbon Frame. The fork is full carbon with semi-straight blades. The production process involves moulds, inside which prepreg carbon layers are placed on top of each other to make a stack. This allows the designers to change the orientation of the fibres accordingly to the direction of the maximum stress, and to increase the wall-thickness of the frame in the most stressed areas. The spin-off of this is a substantial weight saving, and an awesome price-performance ratio. With such B4P frame technology and a full Ultegra SL groupset, along with carbon components, this bike exudes beauty.
Why The Name 928? The 928 name is derived from some of Bianchi’s greatest years, where they have won at both the Giro d’Italia, and the famed Le Tour de France. 1949, 1952, 1998.
What is B4P?
