This is a great tent that ticks all the boxes for me and my couple-with-one-child family. Incredible value for money especially when on special, and pretty good quality. Quick and easy to put up and bring down, and pretty roomy. It fits the 3 of us, with a little luggage, without feeling too cramped. The awning is a good size for stacking up the cooking gear, and folded tables/chairs. It's the right compromise for us between space inside, and ease of pitching.

I've had this tent for about 3 years of reasonably constant use now, in sun, wind and rain. It's lasted really well and proved extremely durable. No sign of wear and tear other than a little fading on the sleeves where the poles go. Until...

It is "not warranteed against wind damage" which I tested to the max at Mt Holdsworth at Christmas 2010. It lasted well against gale-force winds but eventually blew down, in what we later discovered were 170km/h gusts. (Long story as to why we ended up in that predicament). Even then, some replacement pole sections and a little duct tape on the awning got it back up and running no problems, and I've carried on using it for 18 months since then. It would be eminently repairable - if replacing it wasn't so damn cheap!

One minor word of warning - the replacement tent I bought around a month ago had faulty stitching that meant the tags that the poles slot into, pulled out of the ground sheet. T7 sorted it for me quickly, cheerfully and helpfully so not a reason not to buy, just keep an eye on it the first couple of uses.

A great roomy tent, very very very happy with it and got it at a great price,great quality, lets hope it lasts for a lot more summers yet!

Survived RnV!!!  ByronMorrison, Bayswater -Auckland
This came with us to RnV and easily survived the rain and wind that was hitting us.
Easily errected with two people.
Slept only two, but with stacks of room for storage of chilly bins and bags and a queen size blow up mattress.
Highly recommended!

Great tent, have had it up in the wind while away no problems.
Just put it up again for cleaning, and is standing up to a good Wellington northerly gale with no problems.
Could do with extra pegs but only a minor detail.

It is a bit hard to pitch by one person. Maybe after a few times I will get the hang of it. Inside is very roomie for 5 person. If they are shorts (less than 1.80M), 6 people could fit nicely and there are space left for the gears at the feet. I haven't met with rainy day so I cannot comment on that. Materials of the tent seem of good quality though.
