About Rocker
Here is Candleman’s answer to the rocker revolution. You asked for it and they delivered. The Rocking Candleman is designed to ensure riders experience all benefits of rocker, without sacrificing all the snap needed for much-loved aerial action. It’s flat between the binding with mellow rocker from binding mounting areas, out towards the tips. Rocking delivers playful and stable performance, whether it’s a Freeride blast down the Mountain or an intense Park session.

About the Artists:

Caitlyn Harvey (’Magic Mushroom’, ’Bear is Sleeping’.)
Designed by Caitlyn Harvey, a young talented designer based in Auckland, New Zealand. Caitlyn’s art style is playful and laid back. Here is what she has to say about herself: "I’m a born and bred New Zealander and Auckland is the place I call home. Ever since I was young, design has been my passion, particularly illustration and drawing. I’m pretty laid back but I enjoy a good board in my spare time whether it be surf or snow. Hope you enjoy!"

Luke Walker (’Magic Tea’, ’Yeti’)
Luke Walker is as young, talented designer based in Taupo, New Zealand. Like all true artists, Luke’s style is very distinctive. Bold colours and hand drawing are his trademarks. He says "Taupo born and bred; influenced by the Mountains, nature, the Universe and, of course, snowboarding. My artwork is usually designed with a combination of sketching by hand and digital manipulation."
Cameron Graham, a Candleman Team rider, will be riding a ’Magic Tea’ in 2010 slopestyle season.

Adam Tan (’Bigfoot’)
Adam Tan is a young, talented designer based in Auckland, New Zealand. He says " I wanted to design something for a snowboard, which people would be proud to put on their walls and be aesthetically pleasing (fancy design-y term for ’lookin nice’). I always try to put a bit of artistic expression into whatever I do, and of course it’s all open to interpretation, but i just wanted to depict something that represented the love for the snow (with Bigfoot and the girl). Also, Bigfoot is a pretty dope dude (I hope I can meet him someday, if he’s still around. If not, perhaps his children).
This ’Bigfoot’ design took 1st Place in the Candleman Snowboards Tertiary Design Comp 2010, so is the newest addition to Candleman’s designs collection. This particular deck is the first ’Bigfoot’ to be unleashed on the snowboarding scene.

Rosanna Harris (’Mess’)
"’Mess’ is an artwork that pushes the boundaries. To me, this is what snowboarding is about, trying new things outside of your comfort zone and beyond the norm. There are lots of contrasting, busy images against the background which is in many parts quite bare. This reflects what snowboarding is to me- busy and high-paced against a serene and quiet backdrop. The intricate details in parts of ’Mess’ round off the rough edges and balance and refine the artwork to a conrolled, presentable piece".
This ’Mess’ design was thewinner of the girls’ design division in Candleman Snowboards Tertiary Design Comp 2009.
