Good low cost pump
PatrickJones, Eastwood
I have had this pump for a few weeks now and all working OK on my mountain bike with standard fitting. At this price, it is definitely not German engineered but does the job.

No Problems, Excellent value.
ClarrieHall, Rotorua
I have been using this pump for over a year and it has performed faultlessly. I use it on mountain bikes and road bikes. I typically would only go up to a maximum of 120psi. This is not a very heavy robust pump but I have had no problems. It is very convenient to use. I rate it as excellent value for money and would happily recommend it.

Take the long-term view.
StephenGoodman, Petone
This is a review after a over a year of having this pump - so it provides a perspective post the 1-week euphoria.
I would urge people to think again and not buy a pump of this poor quality. The main problem is that all the valve components are made of plastic. These components are held together by a plastic screw, which very quickly degrades to the point where the entire valve head loosens and leaks air. At this point, the valve really stops being effective and you will find yourself spending 30 minutes trying to fix the valve, rather than 30 seconds pumping.
I have absurdly plugged away with this pump since it started failing about two months in. That has been nine months or more of ridiculous fiddling.
I have now seen the light, and my next purchase is going to be a recognized and reputable brand's mid to high range pump. They are more effective and are engineered for durability.
Even if you are new to cycling, I'd urge you to take the long-term view and buy something that will last beyond three months and still work.

Broke after 4 weeks
JonasMeier, Fendalton
Stopped working for presta valves after 4 weeks. Would be covered under warranty, but costs more to send it back than it's worth.

Great
PaulMcNabb, Nelson
I have an older version, I have used it for my families 6 bikes over 3 or 4 years and it still works great. I don't have this exact model and I did have trouble with the valve connection, but Torpedo7 sent me a replacement end and I have had no trouble since.

Not Worth It
DamonTaylor, Trentham -Wgtn
Seemed to be going okay for a month or so, then the pressure gauge stopped working, making it effectively useless. Invest more and buy something that will last.

Tragic !
TimCyclist, Christchurch
Like many of the others have noted below, the valve head just starts to leak air after relatively little use after a year. It's a tragedy because, as usual, in this disposable age, 1% of the product fails and it's time to buy a new one. So do the environmentally responsible thing and buy a decent pump at the shop (and yes they are 3 times the price !).

Good when it works
PhilToomey, Roslyn -Dunedin
Was pretty pleased with this pump, especially for the price!
Unfortunately after about 9 months use the pump head no longer sealed, making it essentially useless. A bit disappointing even though it was cheap. Have since bought a pump with a different style head.

Giyo GF55PT Floor pump
LyleOKeefe, Sydney
For the price it is a great pump. Other than taking a maximum of about 10 seconds to work out the attachment, it pumped to 110psi very easily.
Looks like a perfectly fine pump to me.

Pump.
TomDuffett, North Shore -Auckland
Bought this pump a while ago. Pump head fell off after a few goes, not impressed. Once you get past 80psi you need someone else to hold it on the valve as it blows off because of the pressure. The heah also twists the presta valve which is annoying. I recommend you pay a bit more for a better quality pump.

Not Too Flash
ColinClarke, Belfast
Had this pump for about 8 months now. First pump head failed so T7 replaced it. Now if you want any more than 100psi you need another person to hold the pump head over the valve(presta) as if you don't it flicks off due to the pressure. Also only just tried the schrader head and it does not fit schrader valves. I would definitely look at buying something better next time!!

Good, but not 5 stars
ColinCampbell, Nelson
This is a low volume high pressure pump, which is not so efficient for mountain bikes and motorbikes at 10-50psi. Perhaps that's the price you pay to reach 160psi? For mtb use a higher volume lower pressure pump might be better. Took a couple of goes to work out how to use the reversible head, but it does work well - sealed fine on those weird flat-sided schrader valves. It helped that these reviews alerted me that the head might be tricky to operate. Great value, nonetheless.

Great Pump
RichardHayes, Birkenhead
I read all the other comments before purchasing this pump so I was aware that there was a knack to using the valve. It only took me a couple of goes to get it sorted but if I had read the instructions I think I would have nailed it first go...But that is the benifit of being a guy...Instructions are for others. Great Pump Cheers.

Absolute Garbage
GeneralRodriguez, Auckland CBD
Bought another as the valve on the first one snapped - should have known better after my Dad's one snapped too, new one looks to have been re-designed but it's still rubbish... spend a bit more and get something worthwhile...

Awesome floor pump
RossF, Whitby
Once you get the hang of switching the lock on the right valve in the right direction (anti clockwise or clockwise)you are away laughing.
Easy to pump up to 120psi. A dam sight better that a hand pump.
At the special sale price you'll regret not getting one.

GF 55PT floor pump
PeterButler, East Tamaki
5 Stars for prompt delivery and service. The pump is certainly value for money at the price but does have an inferior feel compared to other $70-$80 pumps Ive used in the past. The locking mechanism is ok but you need to pull off the valve to unhook, rather than it flicking off with release type heads. The air chamber is shorter than most. At 120psi you are squeezing the air from the bottom quarter rather than a fluid stroke through the whole chamber. I'm happy with my purchase because of the price but not the best pump mechanically available.

Weird valve, but once you figure it out it's well worth it!
AndrewW, Auckland
As many have said, the valve at the end is a little unusual, and you'll lose some air the first few times til you get the nack of it, but once you do, it's well worth the low price.
Gauge is handy, too.
