Power Beam have developed a high quality, long lasting Headlight System the RH-20(C), designed for night riding on road or mountain bikes.

Featuring independent powerful halogen headlights with individual switches for 10W low power mode (one light only), then click the remote switch to change into 20W high power mode (2 x 10W lights) for the more technical, difficult or dangerous sections where more light is demanded.

This system is ideal for night time excursions whether On or Off Road.

The bulbs are 6 Volt 10 Watt 2 pin and 6 Volt 10 Watt 2 pin.
High capacity NI-MH 4800 mAh in compact water bottle pack included
Remote switch for easy on/off of 20W high power mode (note that this remote switch only effects one light, turning it on and off to switch in and out of the high power mode {both lights illuminated}
Quick release brackets and mounts, remove and adjust instantly without tools

Good but doesn't last long enough Matt Oliver, Paraparaumu
For the special price this was a pretty good buy. There is plenty of light for morning commutes in the dark and I am on unlit roads quite a bit. The battery life, compared to the weight is poor. I have had them for a year now and am looking to switch to some of the more modern LED solutions.

ok, for a while Bernie Dowrick, Hokowhitu
Brought it a bit over a year ago and used it daily for morning training rides. Mounting for the lights is flimsy and hard to keep horizontal adjustment tight and now the battery wont charge and Torpedo don't carry replacements???!!! Which were advertised at the time of purchase. So beware!

I also had the same problem of one of the power cords falling out of the socket on the lamp.
It would be nice if the battery lasted longer too. Otherwise good lights for the money.

Headlight sytem Ross F, Whitby
Like the way they can be adjusted to fit anywhere on the bike.
Bought them for the road bike, good for commuting around town, all on roads with no lighting.
Not really for a MTB off road night ride, unless a wattage upgrade is done.

Good value at the special price.

Okay for the money when on special Andrew King, MT WELLINGTON
Okay for the money when on special compared to what else is available.
Both light beams are wide angle. A narrower beam would be better for penetration, but was okay for general use.
Returned my set of twin Power Beam lights as I had quality issues.
(NOTE: the issues I had may well have just been a one off. I bought a 1 x 15w light instead which works well rather than try a replacement Power Beam):
Issues: One of the power cords kept falling out of the lamp socket and the mounting that controls the horizontal adjustment couldn't be tightened enough to stop it moving around.
The main light (left) appeared dimmer than the second lamp...I wonder if this actually is a 5W and 10W lamp combo.
Electrical connections didn't look very waterproof either.
