The Princeton Tec Apex blasts an exceptional 200 lumens and has been a staple for extreme adventurers and cavers for years. The pinnacle of Princeton Tec’s range, this waterproof LED headlamp provides a powerful spot beam or a bright flood for up to 96 metres.

Calibrated optics provide smooth beams and the two LED options lets you choose between a smooth powerful white light for mid to long-range tasks, or a smooth “shadow free” light for close to mid-range tasks. The Ultrabright LEDs come in red, green or white to suit your personal preference.

Engineered with Constant Brightness, the regulating circuit maintains initial brightness from the external battery pack which takes 4 AA batteries (included). The Apex is compatible with alkaline, lithium and rechargeable batteries.

With its Heatsink Technology / Thermal Regulation the Apex will dissipate heat generated from the LEDs – although they operate at much lower temperatures than traditional incandescent bulbs, LEDs still generate a small amount of heat which could cause irreversible damage. By using the Heatsinks, the Apex can burn at extreme brightness for long periods of time.

Never be caught short with dead batteries with the battery power meter which quickly indicates battery condition. Make informed decisions about changing batteries or packing spares.
