Get on your bike and motivate your passion for cycling with the brand new Sport Bib Shorts from Route7. The upper is of a two-panel design (front and rear), with a high back. The eight-panel short has vertical seams to allow the material to adapt to your individual body shape. Flatlock stitching is used on seams for less irritation, and the Coolmax moulded chamois contains natural silver to prevent odours and to keep you cool and dry.
Features:
- Fabric: 83% Nylon and 17% Spandex
- 10-panel construction bib short
- Chamois - Coolmax moulded blue/black
- Flatlock stitching
- Silicone application ’gripper’ on inside of leg hems
- Elasticised leg hems
- Small Route7 logo patch on leg
- Weight: 185g (Medium)
Coolmax Coolmax Silver contains a silver additive spun-in which can be expected to remain effective for the lifetime of the garment. Silver is one of the main natural ingredients whose anti-microbial action is primarily used in the field of medicine. It keeps you cool and dry and helps to keep your garment smelling fresh and clean longer.

Comfortable but average
KevinWelsh, Havelock North
Pros: Reasonable value for money, comfortable, well made. Cons: Lycra is thin and chammy seems to be a weird size. Narrow enough, but not long enough.
Would probably go a size smaller than the Large I usually buy in NZ sized products.

Value but not best
RhysHall, Warkworth
Great value for money bibs but chamois average and lycra slightly thin. The front of the bibs is too tall, making those roadside stops a bit annoying. Overall an alright pair of bib shorts and great value for money but if doing larger rides or lots of rides, save up for a more expensive pair.

Awesome !
RichardKovacic, PARALOWIE
I was a bit hesitant at first to look like a wrestler! However seen this on special and was sick of my Lycra shorts moving around so much so I tempted fate.
Turns out bibs are amazing as is this one! Good value for money , good sizing and great price even when not on special!

DonaldKuok, CANNING VALE
Just received it 5 days after placing the order. Very high quality product. I got the medium size and it fit nicely for my size, 170cm tall and 63kg.

average bibs. good value on special
SymonHolmes, Hornby
Good value when on special. The lycra feels very thin but is comfortable. The chamois is fairly average and the front edge of the chamois wasn't comfortable. The sizing is accurate.

Route 7 sport bib shorts
LenHall, Henley Brook
Good value for the price (special) if you can't afford the really good stuff. I weigh 85kg and I am 182cm tall and so I chose the Large size and they fit quite well even though my legs are filling out the bottom of the legs they are quite comfortable. Should have got 2 pairs.

Excellent value
MalcolmGraham, Papatoetoe
Had my first ride in these yesterday, overall they're great. I wasn't sure on sizing so decided to stick with trusty ol' medium and they fit great (6'1, 80kg, long torso). Most of the time I was riding I couldn't tell I had straps over my shoulders.
My one complaint is the chamois. I ride on my aero bars most of the time, so the chamois being a bit short at the back isn't an issue, but it's just a bit wider at the front than ideal. It should remain the same width as it is at the narrowest point (like the "Team Bib Shorts" do, to match the shape of the saddle!), but for some reason it widens at the front which is just a bit annoying when riding. Not a big issue, but it makes these a 4 star rather than 5 star.

Great product for the price
CarlRolfe-Vyson, Browns Bay
I bought two pairs on special. For the price they are very good when compared to the more expensive bibs I own. I like how they are a few cms longer in the leg. The front is cut to the sternum, which is too high when in the riding position - so that's where they lose the star.

Great Buy
markbailey, LISMORE
Bought these on special and now wish I had bought two pair. The sizing is good and when riding they fit where they should and don't feel at all uncomfortable. Will buy another pair when on sale.

good bibs for the price
RickDay-Mesure, Hamilton
Just got back into cycling after about 26 years and these are certainly good for the price. My old shorts had genuine chamois in and did come a bit higher than these at the back but also cost me $100 26 years ago!!! Bought the medium and they fit reasonably well. The T7 sizing chart seems to be reasonably accurate.
So happy with them I bought a second pair the following week. Would recommend for the price.
Also arrived within 2 days... good work T7 (my first purchase).

Bibs are great
ShaunHowarth, Hamilton East
This is my second pair of bib shorts. I love them, the only slight problem with these Route7 ones is the chamois is a little too forward, and doesn't cover the butt too much.

Nice product!
BruceHinson, Thames
Just done a few rides with these and they seem like a good product. The chamois only seems to come up just enough at the rear, but overall are pretty good. Especially for the price!

Game winner
JacobMarx, Addington
Yeah they are a pain if you have to pee and yeah they do put the boys on display a little too much (apologies to the ladies at work), but in doing so they are keep out of harms way on those long rides. Don't pass these up on special they are fantastic, super comfy and the bib part gives you a touch more coverage on the cold Canterbury Mornings.

Bib Shorts
andrewjohnston, parkdale
Great value bibshorts. Have found them comfortable on 100km+ rides. Large size is an easy fit for me (167cm 78kg), may have been able to squeeze into a med.

Comfort for riding
TomGalbraith, MOREE
The bib straps are nice and wide so they are comfortable on long rides. I got an extra size on what I normally wear and they fit great.

What do you expect?
NickPayne, Harkaway
Got these on special as a backup pair. Lycra is very thin and chamois is thin but for the price, I can't complain at all! For short rides they'll work just fine. I'd say sizing is a little big - I'm a large in Netti but think I'd be Medium in these (not that I'd want them too tight with the lycra being so thin).

ROUTE 7 Sport Bib Shorts
dughoskins, PYMBLE
Route 7 shorts seem to have a wider chamois pad which provides good comfort. Braces could have been made of lightweight mesh to improve temperature. Good set of B+B.

These bib shorts are cheap, comfortable and great quality. Coolmax chamois and nice subtle design they can't be beaten.

One of the best T7 deals yet
JonathanDodd, Lynmore
I wouldn't pay the 'normal' $89 T7 price for these, but at the Special price I got them for these are very very good. Have had some other super-cheap specials from T7 before and sometimes the gear really does feel cheap - but I'd say these are excellent for the price, and will let me save my really good bibshorts for the longer rides.

Bib Shorts
RichardCole, Palmerston North
Comfy fit, I like the wide shoulder straps. Padding thicker and certainly wider than my other set, and doesn't seem to go as high as the back. But have used on 60km ride with no issues. Overall pretty happy. Cheers

I like em, i like them a lot...but
TimNeal, FEILDING
They fit well, first bib set I've owned and they are so comfortable to ride in...but they really need a zip....3 hours into a ride and 1 1/2 L of fluid and getting them down once you find a handy bush can be a mission!

Compares really well with my much more expensive Oakley bibs in terms of quality and chamois. Well padded and great fit.

Amazing BIb Shorts for the Price
RobSimpson, Mt Eden
These are amazing bib shorts for the price. They have Coolmax padding that and are sewn well. At the Special price I got 4 pairs for my 60km daily commute and big rides. The sizing is correct so don't go too big.

Route 7 Sport Bib
JamesRobertson, NAPIER
Chamois doesn't come up far enough in the front which is uncomfortable and scaring the kids.
The chamois also feels to thin and not giving sufficient support. I felt sore after a 40km ride, imagine what a decent ride would do to you.
