Shimano SLX Front Derailleur FD-M660-10

SLX is the work horse group for the serious mountain biker. It gives you all the performance of Shimano’s premium groups with added durability. Now it’s even better with the addition of more gears, but that’s just the beginning. Because the new Dyna-Sys triple is a close ratio crank, meaning the difference between chainrings is only 12 teeth, the new Dyna-Sys groups shifts better and faster than any mountain group Shimano has yet made. Of course, that’s only possible with Shimano’s par none front derailleurs, and the SLX M660 Dyna-Sys derailleur is no exception. Best of all, all Dyna-Sys parts are interchangeable, so you can run an SLX front derailleur with a XTR crank and XT rear derailleur, as long as they all say Dyna-Sys. 

This SLX Front Derailleur is a Top-Swing design, and is dual pull compatible. A steel cage and Aluminum knuckles are stiff and provide crisp shifts every time.
