I have four of these and never had problems. Using real filter oil ( not spray on or soap washable) and a bit of grease on the air box lip and bolt washer, they have stood up to very dusty rides. Also the bolt rubber is a useful feature.

Do not buy these I have a ktm250f and race but the other day I was out training I brought four of these air filters for spares and after a training session for an hour on a dry semi puddly track the air filter let dirt through into the air box and the air filter had dirt all in the inside absolutely crap These will just blow up your bike.

Torpedo7 air filter twin pack  DaveYoung, ATHOL PARK
I've seen these come up on Torpedo7 as I subscribe to their email list.

Last month I decided to replace a filter that was about 12mths old and thought I'd have a look at these. They we're selling a twin pack (2) filters on Special.

I was skeptical about the quality for this price yet thought I'd add them to the order I was placing at the time. The twin pack arrived individually boxed and sealed in plastic.
They also come with a pair of latex gloves, though the filter is un oiled.

They are a dual density foam filter. First impressions were high, the inner green foam is very fine and even seems a little firmer than the new OEM Twin Air filter I have spare.
The white outer foam seems to be the same density as the OEM filter.

The laminating between the layers also seems strong with no spots unsecured or excess glue visable. They took slightly a little more oil to cover it than the Twin Air filters I've been using yet this could have been due to the fact they were new.

Fitment was perfect on the KTM cage with the outer rim and three retaining pins all lining up. I used the one filter all Easter riding just shy of 300kms of Mallee single track.

Conditions were sandy and dusty, On removal the outer foam was covered in sand. On inspection no dust was evident in the airbox or around the outer lip.

I'm yet to wash this filter. I generally use kero so will see if this damages the foam in any way.
If you're in the market for some new filters I can recommend these from Torpedo7 for two quality filters is great value.

Stick to brands you know like Twin air, these are noway near as good hence the price, inside of the filter was dirty after 2 rides.

Be careful these filters are cheap for a reason the fit is poor, the quality is poor, I would recommend staying away from them!!!!

I've always used Twin Air filters but decided these were too cheap not to try; turns out you get what you pay for. I did a ride in the weekend that was about 80k, mostly dusty off-road with about 3k of fairly decent water and mud crossings to avoid. This is the first filter ever I have found markings on the inside of; normal air filters are always clean inside but not this one; I hate to think how much damage I just did to my bike by running this; use at your peril. This is a track I do about 3 times a year for the past 7 years, I know what a filter usually looks like afterwards and while the outside was as expected the inside was in very poor condition.

I have used them on about three fairly dry organised trail rides and never had any issues but the inside of this one looked so bad they are going in the bin, buy at your peril.

Good value, shrank slightly when washing in warm water, maybe water was to hot. OEM one didn't though!!!
