Easy to install and holds my road bike very firmly. Drove on a hilly and windy country road and the bike arrived intact.

Only negative is that it can be easily stolen if left unattended.

Bought 2 of these racks on sale. Took two mountain bikes on 1,200km trip and racks performed flawlessly. You can't go past them for value.

These are excellent value for money. Assembly instruction are not all that clear, however its not that hard to work out.
The strap for the back wheel is a bit ordinary, and we made a slight modification and a fitted ute tie down strap, much better.
For the price you can not complain, would and have recommended them to friends.

I bought this on the recommendation of a friend who has used one for some time. Despite the slightly unclear assembly instructions, it took little time to put it together and fit it to our 'Rhino Rack' roof rack.

I used it on a 3.5 hr return drive between Melbourne and Marysville along alpine roads with many sharp bends and I had no issues at all - the bike was held firmly and safely.

I expect to be exploring much more of Victoria thanks to this item. Highly recommended.

Only had it for 3 months at most and its starting to rust. Getting nervous over how much rust is required to release the bike into orbit as I drive down the motorway. I suppose I could always anti-rust it.

Purchased 2x as a low budget solution to carry two bikes. They do the job but the design has some issues. The V steel is very light and flexes a little too much for confront. The Front section which holds the quick release and forks is made out of very thin plate metal and held in place by 3x spot welds either side. These welds started to rust after first day in rain. Bolts for assembly are cheep and not strong, do not over tighten or they will break. Suggest replacing down the track. Suggestions for T7 - replace the V material with rectangular steel for strength with a back wheel fitting. The front plate for fork could be made thicker Or smarter and with less bulk. Would purchase again under budget restraint situation.

The U shape fitting is not quite wide enough for the Prorack Whispbar. Also, a shaped fitting would be more secure. Unfortunately, I'll be returning the bike rack unless T7 can provide a solution.

Have 2 of these and they work a treat. Purchased on special, quality exceeds the price. Only problem I have now is the fitting of my new 15mm axle. Maybe T7 could offer an adaptor or a unit designed for 15mm axle.

Purchased one of these on special for a recent trip away. It came out of the box with heaps of bits but once assembles seems good quality for the price. Not as flash as my Rola brand one, but no dramas putting my good bike up there on it. I won't be using it for long trips, but that's only because I don't like bugs all over my bike, not because it isn't up to the task.

I recently purchased two racks of this type to carry my bikes - they not as fancy as Thule or anything else, but you can't beat that price and they do the job.

It does what it says on the box. I mounted this for transporting a pretty standard 19 inch mountain bike with front suspension. The instructions gave the basic guidance and it's not complicated. You can't lock your bike to this carrier and the carrier itself is pretty easily removed from your cross bars however, for the price, this carrier is great value for money. Cheers Torpedo7.

Very good value when they are on special offer. Very simple to assemble and fit to your roof. 2 different size of U bars to fit different thickness roof bars. The metal frame feels slightly flimsy, and I might have concerns about the strap reaching around big downhill wheels, but these are just little niggles. So far, these have done the job brilliantly. I might recommend getting a 2nd or 3rd strap though, so that once you have removed the front wheel you can strap it to the bike rather than carry it inside the car.

Great basic bike rack  TomAlton, Cashmere -ChCh
Just what I was after.
As another review says, this rack fits up to 80mm wide roof bars. It has two different 'U' bolts, so should fit snugly onto almost anything. The wider ones were perfect for my Aerobars.
I was a little worried about it fitting my mtb forks after one of the other reviews I read, but it fits both my road and mtn bikes fine - no worries.
Took me about 30mins to fit two of them and get them adjusted properly so they would fit either of my two bikes without further adjustment, and miss the boot when it was opened and get them spaced correctly for the roof bars, but now that's done I expect it will take 5-10mins to get them both on each time I want to use them.
Seemed to hold both bikes very securely as well.
Doesn't come with any way to lock the quick releases. These aren't the really flash racks with extruded aluminium rails, but excellent racks for the price and just what I was after.

This rack is good solid and sturdy. Easily adaptable for my road bike... However... It lacks a locking mechanism to lock the bike to the roof which was a big reason I wanted a roof rack instead of a truck rack.

Def worth it for the price I will try and find another way to lock it up.

Just be aware that this product will not fit large forks.
Doesn't come close to fitting my Marzocchi's in the clamp.
Product looks OK otherwise.

I ordered this roof rack, and are really pleased with it, I feel so much more happier having the bike on the roof, as opposed to it been at the back.
I just need to remember to NEVER drive in the garage when he bike is on it!

Bought these racks sight unseen on super special. All alloy construction except the fork clamp. To let you know the widest clamping width is 80mm or so. This just fits around my Rola aero bars. These racks are probably best used on a flat roof rack bar, I have had to do some customising to fit the aero profile, but this is what I expected and not a fault of the product. Easy to cut shorter so it won't interfere with your hatchback. The centre nut that holds on the fork clamp also sits proud of the sides of the parts that contact the roof rack bar when you put it on your car, so I flipped them over so the bolt head is on the bottom and the nut and washer are on top. Otherwise the clamp nut holders (like ninja stars) make installation and removal a cinch (10 mins to put 2 on), and they hold those bikes on very well. Impressed at a super cheap price! 4 stars for my application, but would be 5 for a flat bar roof rack!

Awesome... nothing flash, and will not be the best looking in the carpark. But puts the bike on the roof without any issues for 1/4 the price of other brands. I've got two of these now.
