A roof rack is a practical and convenient way to carry extra cargo, whether it be a roof box, a bike rack or skis.

The Torpedo7 Roof Rack is suitable for various kinds of cars, vans and SUV’s that are fitted with integrated roof bars. Designed to install quickly and easily, the contoured clamps are rubber lined to protect your roof bar’s finish and grip securely. The clamps are fully adjustable and lockable for security.

Supplied as a pair (set of two cross bars).

Specifications

  • Roof bar length: 1300mm
  • Roof bar diameter: 30 x 20mm
  • Roof Bar Material: Coated Mild Steel
  • Maximum recommended carry weight: 70kg
  • Lockable: 2 keys supplied
  • Supplied with: Rubber clamp spacers and installation allen key and fitting instructions

Fitment

This Roof Rack is designed to mount to factory fitted roof bars which are of a "Raised - Tubular" design such as:

  • Mazda 6 Wagon
  • Subaru Legacy wagon 1992-1998 model year
The factory roof bars must be raised up off the roof of the car and be no less than 34mm diameter (otherwise the clamps will not close sufficiently to seure).

We get asked a lot about fitment for these racks so while we are in the process of updating the image to show you what type of roof rails these fit, we’ll try to explain.
These bars will only fit on the roof of a car that is fitted with factory fitted roof rails that are of Tubular design, and are raised off the roof of the car. These T7 cross bars hook around the roof bars, and lock closed.
We are able to assist by doing a Google Image Search for different types of vehicle, but before asking though – just ask yourself the same question that we will undoubtedly ask you ‘”Is your car fitted with Raised, Tubular design Roof Bars?”.
If you are not sure what they look like in comparison to yours then Google image Search “Audi A4 Wagon 2000” and look at the roof bar images.
If you are really not sure then please flick us an email with make, model & year and we'll take a look for you. (Better still - send us a photo of the roof of your car).

TORPEDO7 Roof Rack 4.6 5 38 38
Great value for money These were easy to fit and do the required job well for about half the price of other brands. 17 July 2014
Great rack Great rack, great price. Some wind noice at open road speed but usually have radio on so don't notice. Couldn't say if it is worse than any others though. Easy to fit and remove. 9 June 2014
Great Value for Money Quick easy installation, compared with others on the market the Torpedo roof rack is excellent value for money. 7 April 2014
Excellent value Bought them for my new 150 series Prado. They fit and represent excellent value 3 April 2014
Ticks the boxes Easy to install and use. Solid rack. A bit noisy but that's just the wind and to be expected as not exactly aero construction. 31 January 2014
Great quality for a great price. These roof racks cost about the same as what you'd expect to pay for a cheap set of basic roof racks from a auto shop but these are definitely better constructed, most notably the paint coating feels supple and not flaky like many cheap versions which are prone to rusting. The locking mechs are adequate but not impossible to break I'd consider removing the racks if I were worried about security. All in all great rack for the money. 11 August 2013
Cannot beat them for the price These are a fantastic product for the price. They fit my 2011 Dualis+2 without problems using the rubber blocks provided. I did not notice any annoying whistling from the racks. Only thing i dont like so much is the lock mechanism sticks out alot more than necessary and looks a little weird. But i can handle that considering the money i saved compared to other racks. 20 January 2013
Good, but noisy These fit my Mazda6 wagon nice and easy, and leave no marks. They are wider than most racks, so I can fit 2 large kayaks on them side by side, which I could not do with my old Rolas. My only gripe is that they are incredibly noisy at speeds over 90kph. I have to take them off as soon as I have finished using them. 19 July 2011

Hi there - these should fit OK on your Fielder, but I know for sure that the T7 Alloy ones will fit, and might be the better option.

Hi there - it looks like many versions of that vehicle do have the necessary "Raised, Tubular design Roof Rails", so if yours has these then the bars will be suitable.

Hi there - a Mitysubishi Lancer 2011 does not appear to have 'Raised, Tubular Roof Rails', so I expect that these bars will not be suitable.
