Like the others have said these required some adjustment. I was expecting this however, so a quick swap over of the bits and nek-minnut I'm off down the road looking like the tri-athlete I wish to become (more like a give it a try non-athlete). Very comfortable, lots of possible adjustments, and an instant improvement to my pace.

Although a bit fiddly to setup at first, and then the subsequent fine-tuning needed to get them right, I was happy with the end result when using them on my hardtail MTB which was used as a commuter (with slicks etc) bought them because I needed more hand positions ... have a roadie now for the commute & the number of hand positions isn't an issue so I haven't tried them on it yet

Also bought some bar-tape for these to give a little more comfort

Can't beat them on value for money - they're well made & once setup for you, provide a good sturdy platform to tuck in to & tap out the kms

First aero bars I've tried and I am happy with these. Lots of adjustments you can make to get them feeling right for you. Make sure you take your allen key with you on your first long ride as you be lucky to get it right first time. Took me about 5 attempts to get it feeling great. They can also howl a bit on windy days. Not sure what they will be like on the roof racks at 100 km/h. All in all very happy.

It took me some time to make my decision on purchasing these. I shopped around and these are by far the most cost effective out there. I found the assembly quite simple considering they arrived assembled. I have a flat bar road bike and was able to fit these on without having to adjust anything. I have managed to get an extra 5kph and shaved off 4 mins on my commute, overall its a 200km per week commute and this addition has made the ride soo much more comfotable. A must addition.

I had been looking around for awhile for aero bars to "test" and see if it was for me. Bought these on special a few weeks back and are very happy with the purchase. Found installation a bit fiddly as Terry said and until I googled it, wasn't exactly sure where to position them. (maybe an instruction\tip sheet? for us newbies). Overall, great value.

These are very adjustable, light weight and well designed. Quite fiddly to fit and adjustment options available are not immediately obvious. Good idea michael to switch top or bottom half clamps left to right and visa versa. Although in my case I switched the top clamps. I think now that this is what the designer must have originally intended despite differing from factory partial assembly.

I am very pleased with these bars. After lowering the base bar to suit, I get a good 2 km/h speed increase compared to drops and it's far more comfortable too. I commute 100 km per week on these and they're wonderful when you're faced with a stiff bayside headwind.
The high price of other bars is off putting to most riders, but at this price you can afford to experiment (and probably fall in love with) with aero bars. Definitely not only for triathlons.

Downsides are:
Flat hand grip angle
Slightly bulky due to all the adjustability

Note, I found it much more comfortable if you swap the bottom halves of the clamps from left to right. This allows the extensions to sit more inboard of the elbow pads which is more natural for your shoulders.
