Tour de France 2009 - the Complete Highlights

Starting in the tiny principality of Monaco and covering the distance to the traditional finish on the Champs Elysees in Paris, the 2009 Tour de France will be remembered for the return of a living legend - Lance Armstrong.

After a self-imposed retirement which ended after capturing a record seventh Tour title in 2005, Armstrong was back where he belonged - on the roads of France to tackle cycling’s toughest test.

By joining forces with Spanish teammate and the Tour’s 2007 winner, Alberto Contador for the Team Astana, the pair proved to be an unbeatable combination.
