WTB Weirwolf Comp Tyre - 26 x 2.1
Inspired and designed by WTB Pro cross country & Downhill racer Mark Weir, the design features a fast-rolling, soil piercing central tread that is ramped for low roll resistance and square edged for powerful braking.
Large transitional openings between knobs channel soil outward, enhancing traction as progressive staggered outside knobs provide maximum support in leans and corners.
Weir will tell you that many races are won and lost in the corners, so win by using the Weirwolf tyres.

Brendan Kane, CBD CHC
Same as everybody else - grip very nicely in the dry - haven't tried in the wet yet.

Instant improvement
Alan Goodwin, Birkenhead
I'm still fairly new to riding and I used to wonder how much difference a set of tyres could really make. Now I wish I had bought these tyres months ago.

Great dry weather trye
Greg Hill, SYDENHAM
I have found them to be a great tyre in dry conditions but no so good in the wet. Corner very well. I did take it off the front during the winter as they held too much dirt. They are not the fastest tyres I've had but you can't have the best of both worlds.

know what you want
Steve r, Auckland
These aren't mud or downhill race tyres. They are very good in hard sand & hard dirt. Corner very well. Stable & safe on gravel roads. Corner better than my bigger Timberwolf tyres. They Clogg up in mud though..

will buy again
Andrew Willers, Wellington
Excellent for variable Wellington conditions. 5 of my mates have converted to these since seeing mine. The cornering grip is very good - far better than the high rollers I replaced which were sketchy in loose over hardpack. These also last a very long time.

Good for the price
Shane McNally, Taupo
Fitted to my cross country bike. Good grip but pretty slow roll. Good downhill and would make a great tyre for winter riding.

So far so good.
Warwick Blackler, Blenheim
Munted the sidewall on my Trailbears so I picked these up for the Moa Hunt. Got a pretty mean snake bite, but otherwise good.
