Saturday 25th October was a groundbreaking moment for the new Torpedo7 brand with the opening of flagship stores in Albany and Mt Wellington, Auckland. Coinciding with the rebranding of R&R Sport stores around New Zealand, customers now have a whole host of options to streamline the purchasing of their next adventure based toys.
With in-store entertainment, free coffee and some CRAZY Launch Deals, it was no surprise to see a line starting to form outside the door at 7am. With doors opening at 9 and strictly limited stocks on the some stock, it was initially a mad scramble to grab some of the bargains on hand.

After the initial rush, it was great to see people taking the time to take a much closer look at the new stores and to soak in the atmosphere among what it undoubtedly, New Zealand’s premier outdoor adventure retailer.

With physical locations now a reality, customers now have the option to view product in-store before heading home to buy online, or, with the new Click & Collect’ feature, browse and purchase online before heading in-store to collect in person. If you’ve bought something online that doesn’t quite fit right, isn’t quite the right colour, or just not quite what you wanted, now you can head in-store and exchange it for the right one no questions asked.
