We wouldn’t have picked Spain as our top ski destination but this does look pretty epic! Who wouldn’t want to spend a week skiing and camping here? We love watching people shred all over the world!

The North Face team skier Charlie Timmins takes matters into his own hands, venturing into the backcountry of Sierra Nevada in The North Face: A Week in Spain. His first crack at organising a backcountry mission and executing without guides, the goals were simple: test himself, gain valuable experience in the backcountry, and get some fresh tracks.

Charlie was joined by fellow Jindabyne locals, Boen Ferguson and Lucas Wilkinson. “Both are great skiers and good friends of mine. I had been up in the mountains in helicopters with each of them on different occasions, with Boen countless times. I had also done multi day camping trips with the two, but never without local guides. This was a new challenge for all of us.”
