I am a Christchurch based multisport and adventure racing athlete. My passion for racing in the outdoors began in high school where I was a member of the Hillary Challenge team competing at the National Schools’ Champs at Tongariro.
Â
Finishing High School, I decided to try my hand at a few local multisport races while studying towards my Bachelor of Science at the University of Canterbury. Prior to this I had spent ten years playing football at a regional level, and had a strong sporting background – however I was totally new to paddling a multisport kayak and racing my mountain bike!
Over the last few years I have gained invaluable experience and knowledge from every race I compete in. A few highlights have been twice competing in GODZone, an expedition length adventure race, both times as the youngest female in the field, holding back to back titles at the St James multisport race, and placing 6th in the National Half Marathon Championships.
Â
This year I have enlisted the help of coach Matty Graham and have been seeing some encouraging improvements in my performance with some solid results of late. My training is presently focused toward the Coast to Coast in February 2016.

It’s great to have the backing of Torpedo7 and the best equipment on the market to enable me to get out there and give it my all!
