Why use bands? Bands are now used by all the best trainers and athletes in the world...

Why? They allow us to work in all 3 planes simultaneously, can assist or resist movement, encourage more eccentric loading, have a variable resistance that keeps the neuromuscular connections guessing, are low impact, make our muscles work in groups, train the lock-out, can bring force from any direction, can be used in infinite ways and can stabilise and destabilise any movement depending on the desired training outcome.

They can also can be used to increase power, teach our bodies to be faster , stronger and more versatile.

Circuband has changed all of this. We have invented a system which first and foremost allows us to control the length of the band without changing form or being governed by the space available to us.

We added attachment options based on real world need that are designed to give trainers and users unrivalled specificity to ensure that we are training the muscle and the connections that run them. These attachments are also designed to be heavy duty and can be used on any machine irrespective of the environment.

Lastly, we give you the option to work within the closed loop as well. All this to ensure that the trainer or individual has no limitations besides their own abilities and imagination.

The different colors of Resistance Bands are an indication of it strength and thickness, therefore giving different resistance.

Red – The red bands are classified as light resistance. This means that they are very stretchy, and it takes little effort to pull against them and stretch them out. Light resistance bands are used for working areas such as the shoulders and lower legs, where you don’t need much resistance to feel the muscle working.

Black – Black resistance bands are medium resistance. These bands are less stretchy and have more tension than red bands. They have a higher level of tension than red bands and are harder to stretch. Black bands are used for muscle groups that need slightly more tension, such as the biceps or triceps.

Purple – Purple resistance bands are medium to heavy resistance.  Purple bands are suitable for muscle groups that are larger, such as the legs, chest and back, or for individuals who have been building muscle strength.

Green – Green resistance bands are heavy resistance. These are stiffer than red, black or purple and do not provide as much stretch. Green bands are for those who are strong, or for those larger muscle groups, such as the legs, chest and back. These are also the bands to use when working out with someone else

Blue – Blue resistance bands have a lot of resistance. These are the hardest bands to stretch and pull. Like green bands, blue bands are used for the large muscle groups, such as the legs, or when working with others.
