  • Great bike for all sorts of riding.
I bought one of these last year after doing weeks of research into the best bike for the kind of riding I was going to do. I live in Hawkes Bay, so wanted something that could cope with the local limestone trails, but I commute about 16 kms a day so needed something that was great on the road. I also wanted hydraulic discs, and a lightweight frame (at 10kg, this is the lightest I could find). As well as this, I wanted something I could join a road pack with on the weekend if I fancied, and something that could cope with cyclocross at a push (I haven't tested this one yet, though). I like the drop bar position, but it's more relaxed like a touring bike (I intend to knock off some NZ railtrails). It's light, responsive and easy to ride with fantastic brakes. The only fly in the ointment is the paint quality is a bit iffy with little flakes of it coming off the bottom of the carbon fork, and it scratches quite easily too (I have the dark grey model, so they stand out like plums on a mutt). There's not much can beat the combination of value and spec... I got it at a great price from these guys too. What's not to love?
