If I could have tried them on I wouldn't have brought them.
Hi, 1st thing come on Nelson Torpedo 7 you used to have a very good range of knee protection. Now you have a couple and not all the sizes of the types you do have. This meant I had to order these on line without been able to try them on. Cons - The inner pad isn't preformed, so when your knee is bent the sides pop up. The inner pad isn't as big as it insert area, about 10mm all the way around. The pad is very small. Pros - You do forget you have them on. The pad does feel like it will do a good job of protecting you knee (if its over the part that hits the ground). They don't slide down. I feel Alpinestar hasn't hit the mark with these knee pads. Maybe if they were not worried about making them roll up they could have made a better pad. If you are the person who stops at the top and puts your pads on these are not the pads for you. Get better protection. If you are after a light weight knee pad the Specialized Atlas pads I had were better.
