Product Details

This is a true one board quiver. Up front you have a ‘fish’ like nose – wide through the 12” mark with an easy entry rocker and single concave. From the mid point back, the template narrows in a long curve into a rounded pin tail with a little more rocker under the back foot and a double concave to vee behind the fins.

This combination makes a board that paddles well and catches waves like a fish but also performs in more critical waves. Under your front foot the board is fast and accelerates quickly, with speed to burn. As you transfer your weight to your back foot the combination of the round pin and double concave makes the board sharp and responsive, easily capable of holding a high line in the barrel or deep gouging carves.

With 5 Futures fin boxes, the Hybrid can be ridden as Quad or Thruster.

Features:
Tail: Round Pin
Contours: Single to double concave
Fin Setup: Tri or Quad– Futures fin boxes
Length: 6’0”
Width: 20 1/2”
Thickness: 2 5/8”
Volume: 35.7L

  • High quality epoxy board at very reasonable price - very surfable and rivals Hypto Crypto
I was hesitant about buying this board for smaller summer surf and tempted to go for a better known brand like Hayden, JS or Pyzel but have no regrets. Its a low rocker fuller nosed easy paddling board with lots of carry but the round tail holds it in nicely if you need to lean on the rail. Surfing made easy. Picks up anything. Used up to 4 foot solid at Piha and I'm sure fine up to 5 foot. Compliments a more conventional shape for bigger or consistently hollower waves.
