When injury to life, limb or eyesight is imminent, and all other means of self-rescue have been exhausted, the ResQLink PLB increases your chances of survival.

Even in extreme conditions and situations, the ResQLink™ activates easily. Just deploy the antenna and press the ON button. With its powerful 66-channel GPS, the ResQLink™ guides rescuers to within 100 meters or less of your position.

Two built-in tests allow you to routinely verify that the ResQLink™ is functioning and ready for use - with the push of a button, you can easily test internal electronics and GPS functionality.

As a non-buoyant device your ResQLink PLB is equipped with tough eyelets through which it can be attached to a belt, flight suit, pack, or lifejacket to ensure you don't become seperated.

A 406 MHz Distress Beacon Registration form is included in the pack for immediate registration - For more information about registering visit the Maritime New Zealand's website.

*This PLB is programed for use in NZ only.

  • recommend this PLB
It was easy to log on and register it. Have not had to use it but seems simple to use. Good price and not bulky or heavy

  • The unit is so light and small.
I have seen the ACR unit before and was impressed with its size and funtionality. I am going to sew a pocket into my life jacket so it is always with me at sea. This would be a useful accessory feature - i.e.. a clip-on sew-on pocket to attach to life jacket.

  • Feel safer knowing you have it
Our whole family does lots of outdoor things, tramping, skiing, mountaineering, backcountry touring on motorcycles, mountain-biking, so we all use it and feel much better heading into the backcountry knowing that we have the ACR ResQlink PLB in case we get into any trouble or equally can help someone who may be in danger

  • Excellent product.
Light weight, compact and highly visible. Hopefully I'll never have to use it but I'm super glad I've got it. Thanks ACR.

  • Light and small. But not waterproof according to the label.
Hopefully will never be needed. Best to be kept in a small dry bag in case of submersion.
