Torpedo7 Commuter Disc Scooter

I've been using this scooter to travel at least 8km almost every day for over a year. It's incredible. Absolutely life-changing. It has saved me a fortune in time and money (I got it on sale, but it would still be worth full price imho). My commute is 35-40 minutes on foot, and with this I'm down to 20ish minutes on average (personal best of 16 minutes). It's 1000 times better than taking the bus. It folds down easily so I just take it into class with me and don't have to worry about locking it up somehow or it getting stolen. I take it into stores, wherever, without any problems.

It's not as fast as a bike but it's so much more portable. It's not as portable as a skateboard but it's much faster, safer, and more versatile. The wheels and suspension mean you can actually get over cobbles and weird bumpy things that skateboarders have to stop for. Rough footpath is no problem. Smaller-wheeled scooters without front and rear suspension just don't compare. However, the only other suspension scooter I've tried was unnecessarily huge, heavy, and awkward (marketed as top-of-the-line suspension tech).

My ass is unrecognisable. Scooting 20 min each way every day has changed it forever. It's like doing lunges but fun. Honestly, I thought the novelty would wear off after a while but it's still incredibly fun to ride this scooter after well over a year of use. Genuinely really love it and miss when I haven't scooted in a while.

I have tried some other scooters, from much more recognisable scooter brands... and was bitterly disappointed by all of them. The brake on this scooter is amazing. I feel like I could stop with ease going down a vertical drop in a monsoon. Some of the other scooters I tried had terrible back brakes that barely worked and felt very unsafe. I will say that I don't use the front brake on this one at all. It works, but the back one is much more natural and effective. I also don't retract the handlebar as it's awkward and takes too long, nor do I fold dow

Best kick scooter I have owned .. perfect for commuting and is super fast. Well made and features such as disc brake, kick stand, easy to use folding etc I highly recommend this scooter a 9.9/10.
