Please see the size chart for motorcycle pin size by manufacturer - please note this is a guide only, we recommend checking your service manual to check correct size.

We also have other sized pins - 19mm, 21mm, 23mm, 24mm & 27mm available separately, please see the related products on the right to find the link to these pins.

We recommend only using the front head lift stand in conjunction with a centre stand or a rear stand to ensure the stability of your motorcycle and never on its own.

Warning for full fairing bikes:
This style of stand may not be suitable for all road bikes, particularly those with full fairings. We have heard of a few bikes where the stand puts pressure on the nose or headlight fairing and could potentially damage it. The only models we know of are Kawasaki ZX-6R and ZX-10R, Yamaha FZ6R, BMW S1000RR  and Kawasaki Z750.

  • Easy to use
The stand came with 5x different size steering stem adaptors ranging from 13mm to 18mm.
I modified the 17mm adaptor with a 24mm sleeve to suit my VTR1000.
The stand is effortless to use and now I can easily get my front wheel off the ground for maintenance without the fear of my bike falling over, can also remove the forks! :)

  • Great unit for the price
Works well for my 2009 Triumph Speed Triple, although you'll need to buy the additional pack of extra head stand pins as you need one of the bigger ones from that pack (can't remember which one exactly right now).

  • Works well. Better than under fork support type. I wouldn't sit on the bike though.
I originally bought the stand that supports under the front forks but had difficulty getting the axle out. Also setting the fork height in the triple clamp was a mission. This design solve those issues.
While it is strong enough, the instructions state not to sit on the bike while supported. I agree.

  • Sturdy and works well!
Fits the Ducati 749/999 once the front mudguard is unbolted. Holds everything steady with no wobbles and movement.

  • Good for the money
Got one for my 2006 Aprilia RSV1000R Factory, works with the optional 20mm Pin, but be careful when dropping the front wheel down on the ground, comes very close (it will hit it if lowered fast) to the front fender,
doesn't come with any assembly instructions but it is very simple,
Very good value for the money!

  • Excellent Product
Stand is very sturdy. I have a GSXR 750 with Race glass and it lifts the front easily without touching any body work.

  • really easy to use and well built
    Light, strong and simple.
Highly recommended - but double check that your fairings don't get smushed with it - had a slight issue with mine and had to take the front fairing off to use it properly.

Great for servicing the front end of the bike

  • Good products don't need to cost the earth
I was a little weary at first due to the bolt together nature and the sharp pricing but this stand is the business. Fits and holds my SV very securely.

  • works well
The head stand works well, the only thing would be if it lifted a another 50 mm higher I wouldn't need to undo the front guard to take the wheel out, other than that it worked well and I would recommend it. In all fairness my bike is high and other bikes probably wouldn't be effected. I also used the 27 mm adaptor for a zx9r b1, which was a good fit.

  • Very good value for money
This stand works perfectly on my Yamaha R6. It doesn't foul on the fairing or front guard and lifts the bike high enough to perform all work on the front end. Happily recommend it for others with the same bike.

  • good unit
Seems to work well and was easy enough to put together. A little tight to get into the 250 Ninja but it got there.

  • Sturdy Build, good quality, great service...
Sturdy build, good quality, not scary to use with my relatively heavy ZX7R...
    Usual great T7 service.

Very happy with the stand - easy one man use, does exactly what it should.

  • great looking product.
the product looks the part but does not fit the zxr400 headset. i knew there was a possibility that it wouldn't & it didn't. i have worked how to make an adapter to make it work so will keep you posted.

  • Most excellent
I bought 1 of these stands off Torpedo 7 last year and it is good, so this year i have bought 2 more of them, they are solid with virtually no sideways movement. I am confident to leave the bikes on them and one of them is in my carport where rain comes in from time to time and after a year there is no rust on it so it is well made.

The only thing that could make it better would be if i could buy the half stand under fork grips so if i wanted i could take the top half off and use it as a normal front stand.

    Cheers Clint

  • 08-11 Honda CBR1000RR no clearance issues
If wanting for a 08-11 CBR1000RR then go right ahead but need to order a 23mm pin (likely fine for '12-'16 CBR but haven't tried.)

    pin is here: https://www.torpedo7.co.nz/products/T7S7LNNFP/title/torpedo7-motorcycle-front-head-lift-stand-pin

sturdy, all round good quality and good price

  • Great stand for the price
Bought this to use with a 2016 S1000RR. Fits under front fairing with plenty of clearance. None of the stem pins are an exact fit but there's one that close enough (slightly undersized). There were no assembly instructions inside the box but it was easy enough to put together using the pictures on this website.

  • great features easy to assemble
this bike weighs in at 177kg so heavy duty stands are a must, this stand fits the bill perfectly

  • Wheels too small for RD350LC
Appears generally of decent quality & finish. I bought one to test for suitability for my RD350LC race bikes.
Assembled, the largest head stem pin just does it's job, but a larger pin is required. Perhaps the product might be offered with a selection of head stem pins?
The lower head stem of a 350LC is approx 730mm off the floor. With the standard wheels this lifts the front barely clear of the floor. If I fit different tyres, it wont.
I have bought 125mm diameter (10mm axle) wheels (Bunnings @ $7.50 each) that raise the pivot and allow the front wheel to be clear of the floor.
I also had to buy replacement circlips, as removing the oem circlips rendered them useless.

Recommended that you first measure the height of your head stem and the diameter, so that you get the correct pin size & can be confident that it will lift the front off the floor.

Otherwise, it seems to be fine.

  • Seems small?
Bought this for my Yamaha MT-09 and fiance's Ninja 300.

It fits (just) beside the silly horn location on the MT-09 but doesn't actually lift the front wheel off the ground. So not much use there.

Ninja 300 it pushes quite a lot on the underside of the front fairing. No can't be used there either.

Quality seems good for the price. Certainly as good as other stands I've seen for more money. Just doesn't fit either of my bikes. Would likely be a 4 or 5 star product if it fit either of my machines.

Probably not worth the effort to pay to return it.

  • Works fine
Works Fine. Better than the type that lifts under the forks,I did need to make new spigot to suit zxr to obtain clearance on front fairing ,you say this may be a problem. may be you could source this and offer as an extra .

  • Fits 2014 R1 perfect. Use the 17mm pin not 16.5 per the fitment guide
Easy to put together. Took about 5 minutes just had to check the picture of it online and everything buttoned up nicely.

Fits the 2014 R1 perfect. The horn / brake lines are not in the way and fairing is clear as well. I used the 17mm bolt which fit into the hold under the triple clamp.
