  • Schitzophrenic pump
What an odd-ball pump. I was trying to use it first time, but there was no air coming out the nozzle. Instead it was coming out the other end.

My better-half stepped into help and noticed that the CO2 nozzle is not the same as the pump nozzle - indeed there's a separate hose stored in the end for manual pumping.

Volume - its a minipump, and takes more strokes to get to pressure, that's a given with the form factor. So 5 strokes of a floor pump is about the same as 80-100 strokes of this pump. But you can pump away like a spastic monkey and fill it quick enough.

I don't trust the rubber band strap holding the pump in the carrier. So I've added a second velcro tiedown that goes around the whole tube, for added security. Or just keep it in your pocket, but I prefer to keep riding things in pockets and stopped things on the bike.

The gas cylinder surprised me too. Its heavier than the pump by itself, and so I'd only take it on a race or group ride.
