You may be asking yourself what is the difference between olympic weight plates and standard weight plates. Aside from the fun colours, the main difference is in olympic plates, the size of the hole used to mount the plates onto the barbell is bigger. Olympic weights have a 2 inch hole, whilst standard ones have a 1 inch hole, which means olympic weights can only be used on olympic bars. Available in several different weight increments from 1.25 kilograms all the way through to 25 kilograms, we have a weight for anybody no matter what their strength abilities are. Torpedo7 has olympic weight set plates that are made of solid rubber, making them safe for dropping onto rubber floor tiles and very hardwearing, great for commercial and domestic use. We also range olympic weights made from solid cast metal with EZI grip handles. So fasten those weights, put on your weight lifting gear, grab your protein powder and get those muscles looking swol.
