I was lucky enough to get across to Adelaide for my inaugural Tour Down Under, everyone I’d spoke to who’d been in the past had said it was an epic event and they weren’t wrong. If you love your cycling and have a need for speed, then getting across to the TDU is a must. The racing is all centred around the greater Adelaide area with all the stages accessible my bike or car. The one difference between the TDU and say the Tour de France is that you can stay in one location for the whole event and catch every stage.
If you’re after a great week away with amazing weather, great food and some of the best riding you’ll ever do in your life, then the Tour Down Under is a must.
