late july 2021. excellent purchase price ($409.00super sale) however i would not have paid the retail price of $999.00.
the backroom does have 3 way windows including the 2x 3 way d doors which are also used as windows. there is one 2 way d door/window that seperates the backroom and the front room. the front room has 2x d doors and are only 2 way and not 3 way as the backroom therefore are three quarter windows without the 3 way features as the backroom thus you will be flooded with sunrise/ first light in the morning if you are using front room as a bedroom as i did. the main entry door is large and squareish but is not completely free of body contact as it is an upside down t zip style meaning the door has a centre door zip and a bottom left side zip and a right side zip giving you more of a large but imposing triangular type entry point after left and right of door are rolled and secured to their sides. my sons room was relatively darker in the morning. after the first day i added a weather tough silver tarp (12x20ft) to the roof to minimise morning light to the front room. the front room is now that little bit darker. because i chose an oversized tarp it meant that it would overlap around the entire tent this giving added porch like shelter from the rain and come summer will be additional surround shade from the sun thus help protecting tent fabric/life span. overall a fantastic tent with power cord entry points on both sides of tent. the 2 triangular sun roof positioned on both sides of the front room is pretty cool and my son and i were able to star gaze. the tent fly is of high quality. the tent porch poles are very sharp and easily tear the inner tent fabric is this happen to us when i accidently let it fall and it made a clean rip on the d door nylon fabric. i simply repaired with a brilliant product called tear aid - type a.
