EVERYONE LIKES GOOD NEWS YEAH?!

Well, we’ve got something even better, exciting news!

After ten hugely successful years in the South Island, the sell-out Torpedo7 Spring Challenge women’s adventure race is being launched in the North Island.

It’s going to be held in the Rotorua region between 7-9th October.

The event caters for all levels and abilities, the only prerequisite is that you can ride a bicycle and have an appetite for adventure. There is a beginners 3-hour version, the intermediate 6-hour and 9-hour option for the experienced.

It’s a team event, three women per team, so it’s as easy as getting two friends to join you and share the adventure experience. You do the event together, navigating your way around the fun [and challenging] course, white water rafting (guided), mountain biking and hiking.

The courses are designed to take teams to special wilderness locations in nature that most people wouldn’t normally access. The Spring Challenge is an extremely rewarding, authentic adventure race, nearly 10,000 women have completed the South Island events since 2007.

Event Director is New Zealand’s most illustrious Adventure Racer Nathan Fa’avae.

Entries must be received by April 25th (ANZAC Day).

The winners will be drawn on April 26th

The Spring Challenge South Island will be celebrating its 10th successful year and will be hosted in Golden Bay come September with over 1240 women entered. Entries sold out in 2 days, that’s how much people love taking part!
