The short film features Mons Royale’s line-up of kiwi rippers showing off some of New Zealand’s incredible terrain – with big mountain lines from Will Jackways, Jossi Wells throwing down in the park and mountain biker Conor McFarlane slaying Queenstown’s trail network.
Mons Royale CEO Hamish Acland says “We’ve wanted to make a film like this for ages. Something that would represent the lifestyle here and show people why we do what we do. I wanted to be able to give the World an idea of where we’re from and what the NZ scene is like as well as try to showcase some of the amazing action sports talent we have here.”
Mons team rider Janina Kuzma agrees, “When we travel in Europe and North America people we meet are always asking what NZ is like and I try and explain how it’s a bit different, special in its own way. I think we’ve captured a lot of that with this.”
“We ride and film all over the World, but I’m stoked to have been able to help Mons put together a film that shows off a bit of New Zealand” said Sam Smoothy “I’d love to see even more overseas athletes head down here for winter this year.”
Mons Royale continues to help take the New Zealand action sports scene global.
Designed in Wanaka, Mons Royale is expanding its distribution with a new European office and its profile on the World stage through a partnership with the Freeride World Tour.
